The future of brain health depends on the research we invest in today. As people are living longer lives, understanding, preventing, and treating neurodegenerative diseases, like Alzheimer’s, becomes more urgent — and more possible.

Brain Canada has proudly partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association for the last decade, working together to advance cutting-edge research. Through this collaboration, we have supported researchers across Canada through programs such as the Alzheimer’s Association International Research Grant Program (IRGP), and the Advancing Research on Care & Outcome Measurement (ARCOM). In more recent years, we have funded projects exploring a wide range of important areas, including early diagnosis, disease mechanisms, caregiving strategies, and potential new therapies.

These achievements are the result of Brain Canada’s ongoing commitment to advancing brain health research, and of our strong partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association.

We are excited to share that this important work will continue. Brain Canada plans to support the upcoming awards set to launch in July as part of the Alzheimer’s Association International Research Grant Program. Together through continued collaboration and investment, we can drive progress and bring hope to those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
