The effects of optogenetically activated orexin/hypocretin neurons on the mesolimbic reward pathway

Mr. Baimel’s work focuses upon the role of the neuropeptide, orexin, and its role in modulating the neural region which regulates reward sensations, the ventral tegmental area (VTA).
